Founded 2020 ยท serving 3 countries

We built the agency
we wished existed.

RZ Web Media started as a one-person operation in 2020 because the marketing agencies serving small businesses were doing everything wrong. They hid pricing. They locked clients into contracts. They sent vanity reports. We do the opposite โ€” and that's the entire pitch.

The story

Why "RZ Web Media" exists

The agency was founded in 2020 by Rizwan โ€” a developer who'd spent years watching small business owners get burned by agencies that promised the world and delivered slide decks. Roofing contractors paying $3,000/month for "SEO" with no rankings to show. Restaurants whose GMB got suspended and the agency couldn't help. Dentists whose website was so slow it dropped them off the first page.

The pattern was the same everywhere: small businesses being treated like enterprise clients, paying enterprise prices, getting agency-process work instead of actual results.

The fix wasn't complicated. It was just unfashionable.

Charge fairly. Post the pricing so everyone sees the same numbers.
Do the work yourself. Don't outsource to a "team" the client never meets.
Say no to bad-fit clients. Don't take projects you can't do well.
Report honestly. If something isn't working, tell the client.
Build to last. Custom code, no page builders, no plugin bloat.

Six years in, the approach works. Our average client stays 18+ months. We serve businesses across the US, Canada (BC primarily), and India (Kolkata). We've handled GMB reinstatements for businesses that had given up. We've rebuilt websites for companies whose previous agency disappeared. We've taken over SEO accounts that had been mismanaged for years and turned them around.

None of this is because we're geniuses. It's because we treat small business clients the way they deserve to be treated โ€” and that's still rare enough in this industry to be a competitive advantage.

What we believe

Five things we believe about this work

If you agree with these, we'll get along. If you don't, no hard feelings โ€” we're probably not the right agency for you.

Public pricing is a competitive advantage.

Most agencies hide their pricing because they want flexibility to charge different clients different amounts. We post our numbers because trust matters more than margin.

Long contracts are a sign the work isn't working.

If the work is good, the client stays. If the work is bad, why do you need to lock them in? Month-to-month is the only honest structure.

"Guaranteed page 1" is a lie.

Google explicitly prohibits agencies from making this claim. Any agency that does is either lying or breaking Google's rules. Both are disqualifying.

Page builders ruin websites.

Elementor, Divi, WPBakery โ€” they slow sites down, lock clients in, and break on every WordPress update. Hand-coded custom themes are faster, cleaner, and yours to keep.

Vanity metrics are a distraction.

Impressions don't pay your bills. Calls and form submissions do. We report on what matters, not what looks impressive on a slide.

Saying no is part of the job.

If we can't help you, we say so. If your project needs a specialist we're not, we refer you out. Taking money for work you can't do well is a scam with extra steps.

Where we work

Three countries. Remote-first.

Local marketing doesn't require a local agency. It requires an agency that understands the local market โ€” and the data signals Google uses to rank you in it.
